My chiropractor is a professional old chap who works alone and he’s a man of few words. He did alot for me within that half hour and I was hoping he would do more. He was very focused on his work and we didn’t have the chance to talk more. I can see the cell booster antenna on his phone so that’s how private his office is. The reception wasn’t that fantastic and that was why he needed that.

I’m feeling better today but my back still have a nagging pain that won’t go away. I think I should go see him again and do a second treatment and I’ll be soon on the way to recovery!

We did that three years ago and loved the experience. We spent five nights in the cruise in the hawaiian waters and visited a few islands. I believe that is a great way to see Hawaii if time is limited. There are many cruise options including cruises Royal Caribbean and others. You should do a search and check out some online reviews, if any, about customers’ experiences before going ahead with your booking. In any case, you should talk to friends and family as they may have some opinions to share.

In our villa, we had a private pool and my son had a great time morning and evening with dad. He loves the water and it was a great opportunity for him to practice his swimming skills too. It is good that the villa takes effort to install pool filters so that the pool is clean all the time. Though the chlorine smell was a little strong, we are glad that we have a clean pool to swim in.

Two more day and I’m off to Singapore then to Hong Kong with my family. I am so glad that I can have this opportunity to spend some quality time with all of them.

When we were at the island, we were planning to go for a good traditional massage to ease those aching muscles. Before making the reservation, we checked out the spa and was disappointed that they didn’t replaced the spa filters. If only it was cleaner and more professional, it would be nice to get a treatment in a rainforest setting.

Now that I’m back from the island of sea and beautiful surf, I am longing to go for another island getaway before the move began.

Italians are creatures of pleasure and leisure. In Rome, all shops and businesses close for the afternoon siesta. If you have a lot of ground to cover, start your day early. Or do as the Romans do and use siesta to enjoy the sights over a nice meal and a bottle of wine. Be ready to equip yourself with joint pain relief if you are a shopaholic!

Most shops in Rome have a no return, no exchange policy. Even if the product sold is defective or you changed your mind a few hours later, chances are the retailer will neither honor a refund nor an exchange.

If high end fashion is not your style, there are numerous specialty shops and street markets as well. The difficulty with specialty shops is most of their merchandise are kept behind counters. You need to know exactly what you want or be armed with a good number of Italian words. Street markets are fun and the variety of goods can be staggering. Be alert not just for good bargains but for pick-pockets and smooth sales talk. When in Rome indulge your shopping cravings but be alert, firm and smart.

Tahiti offers an incredible opportunity to just relax or explore for many honeymooners. The choices open to you are vast. Everything from dolphin encounters, shark feeding, deep sea fishing, snorkelling, surfing, windsurfing, water skiing, outrigger canoing, para sailing. French Polynesia is a prime target for divers, so as you can imagine the snorkeling is pretty good too! If that’s not your fancy, pick one of the punta cana resorts and enjoy a memorable honeymoon of a lifetime!

The Lanson Place Hong Kong was personal, friendly and casual while The Venetian was luxurious and grand. I enjoyed my stay so much that I told DH that I would have to come back here next year! One of the ways to get an upgrade is to be a member of the Small Luxury Hotels and you can be certain that you will receive special treatment too!

Personally, I always believe in picking the right accommodations when I take a yearly vacation. A wrong accommodation pick and you end up feeling miserable and that’s not worth it for some. There are many holiday apartments and accommodations to choose from these days such as the Westgate holiday accommodation in Orlando. The year is coming to an end and this is a busy season for travels. Enjoy your vacation and have fun as you usher into the new year.

First all of all, I’m so glad the room we booked in Shinjuku is nice. Though it’s not in the heart of Shinjuku, I like the fact that the apartment is new and the one bedroom apt we booked is so spacious! There is broadband connection in the room and thus, we don’t need to worry if they have a Linksys router, all we do is plug in the cable and just connect! In the next few days, I won’t have any internet access so that will be a challenge for me cos I have things to do and assignments to finish.

Then again, this is our vacation so I should really take it easy and not work so much! That’s it for now and more reports to come!

I’m gearing up for our yearly family vacation tomorrow – what a long wait! Since early this year, I had begun my planning and I’m so glad that it’s finally here!

Weeks before our travel date, DH was already getting our travel medical insurance ready – something he’s in charge all these years. As for me, it’s getting the itinerary ready, conduct travel research, gather ideas and book all our hotel accommodations.

This is the time of the year where alot of families travel and spend time together. It’s a time of break and rejuvenation. As the saying goes, “All work and no play makes jack a dull boy” so I hope you too find some time for a real break before the year comes to a close…
