IN the world we live in today, there is a height in immorality and that makes legal paternity testing popular with some couples. There are those who marry for ulterior motives and it’s detrimental to a child’s development. It’s the responsibility of every parent to help their kids so that they will grow up to be contributors to their society. This itself is a challenge as we move ahead in modern times.

Well, I am not so keen like him. Whenever he asked me to step on the weighing, I have to hold my breadth and wish that the scale didn’t tipped! Many people don’t like the weighing scale either. They tried hard to diet but to no avail. Well, these days, there are lots of diet pills such as adipex without prescription and it helps those who want to lose weight. Though I don’t need any at this moment, I still hope that the weighing scale doesn’t tipped when I stepped on it!

It’s one of those months where you don’t feel like waking up in the morning. You want to sleep in, cuddle in the blanket and enjoy the comforts of the quilt. I dislike putting on my yoga pants on those cosy mornings and wish it’s a weekend! Well, comforts aside, the routine has to begin and the clock will continue tick even if I decide to sleep in! We just ordered our ceramic heater and it’s due to arrive next week. We are all ready for winter and with the heater, we can be more cosy in the nights!

I had a gathering with a few girl friends and we were sharing our joys and sorrows of being a home maker. I considered myself more than a home maker as I work from home. Sometimes I do feel like my schedule is always full and it can be tiring. Some friends are into home automation programs while others are just looking for sometimes casual to do. Full time parenting is preferred by some though others regard this as a job too tedious in the long run!

There is much fun in school for school age kids as they can often play in the school playground and the sandpit is always a hit. School break time is also good for kids to mingle and get to know each other and they can enjoy themselves learning together. Kids are happy and so are the parents. For me, it’s a good time for me to get back to my daily routine though I don’t enjoy not being able to sleep in. I would need to wake up early to prepare morning tea and lunch for the little ones. And I believe all mommies are feeling the same too!

This afternoon, I went to the liquor store to get some wines for tonight’s dinner. I like cooking these days and the recipe requires me to use some white wine. In the liquor store, there were people buying cigars and other snackies. I have been exploring various recipes in the week and it’s quite nice trying out different spices and herbs. Tonight, I’m cooking Coq Au Vin and O I hope it turned out good!

Some stores may not allocate discounts on your purchases but they will reward you at the end of a full year with vouchers. To me, if you shop in that place often, it doesn’t hurt to be a member of some sort. Not only do you get a reward card you get notifications of discounts and bargains which can help you save further. To be a smart shopper, always compare prices and do your homework in the internet by making price comparisons. Nobody likes to be paying more!

Previously I attended a real estate seminar and it taught me a thing or two about real estate in the buyer and investor point of view. It also teaches one to be a savvy seller. I like interiors and home decorations and I think it’s fine to choose your own tiles, bathroom faucets and wall colors for your new home. It can be very daunting when everything comest together but it can bring forth a sense of satisfaction when you look at the end result. We are heading to the store today to get some new storage and small things for the house. It just love keeping the house clean and tidy!

In the beauty world, women seek for solutions to look good in their mid age and the younger ones seek cosmetic beauty for their appearance. Those with skin issues will go all out to seek answers for their acne scar treatments and they want to look good like their peers. Everyday I come across all sorts of ideas of how to achieve that.

We went to Ikea the other day to get a few storages and I’m glad we can get more organized now. I saw some microfiber upholstery and thought it is good for our couch. Everyone seems to be talking about microfiber these days due to the cleaning abilities.

So much for new furnitures, I need to do up the garden once we are all organized and unpacked in the next few days.
