I recalled my husband’s admission to the hospital few months ago and it was a traumatizing experience for us. At that time, I was so worried about his condition that all I wanted was to see him get well soon. I was so tired that night that I didn’t even pay attention to the nurses uniforms, the way I normally would. He was so sick that I had never seen him in this state. After that experience, he wouldn’t take any gout medication and would let it run its course. What a close shave for him!
