The prom night is here and my little niece is asking me for advice on her fashion attire for the occasion.
With thanks to online shopping, it would be easy for her to find what she wants online and she’s looking at some nice corsets for her gown. Looking back, I wished I had more options on my prom night and infact, I skipped it cos I couldn’t find a dress to wear! It would be nice to replay and revisit that occasion as I graduate from high school. I was just too low in my self esteem that I decided to stay away.
I wish someone told me about being positive at that time and I would be happy and proud of myself and not feel so little. This is one of life’s learning experience for me and I will make sure my kid has better self esteem in his growing experiences.
