I was just casually chatting with a friend about how things have changed in the retail sector and we had a good time exchanging ideas.
In the past where things are not so efficient, there’s a lot more labor involved in the daily operations of the store. By these days, with the barcode scanner productivity has increased and people can work faster. With this efficiency, we can achieve more with the time we have in our hands. Therefore business owners will need less staff to get things done in any business.
It’s a holiday tomorrow and I’ll be shopping with my son in the morning before the crowd streams in. Hopefully it’s another day of good break for us.
