It’s a month of birthdays and this week, I’ll be shopping for a few gifts for some close friends. With today’s powerful media technology, most people are resorting to sending online greetings and gifts but I’m still very much a traditional person when it comes to gift giving.
I used to buy personalized gifts for family and friends but with my busy schedule, it’s hard to keep up to that now. Still, I like to call them to send a greeting or buy the good, old traditional card and send via snail mail. Don’t you realize that people hardly send mails out like before. Emailing is becoming more common and popular that people actually stop writing letters and mailing cards.
I hope that when my child grows up, he still knows how to send a card or greeting. It may be short or simple but after all, it’s the thought that really counts.
