No one likes to fall sick. When one is under the weather, your activity levels decreases and it can be frustrating. I was down with a back pain two weeks ago and it affected my Pilates sessions especially when I was lying down.
A friend couldn’t come to class for a month as she has to undergo a piles surgery. Perhaps she should consider or try out other forms of hemorrhoids treatment instead of choosing a painful surgery as she can’t even sit down at all. She may have to avoid some Pilates movements that involves sitting so as to avoid any tear on the surgery area.
Pilates is a great way to keep one flexible though I feel that more cardio movements should be included in the class. I would probably need to get some exercise on the balance ball with this week’s break and give those arms and legs a good stretch.
