During my younger years, I used to do lots of aerobics and high impact workouts in front of the TV. Then came the fad of gym going which became part of a modern lifestyle in the 80s.
I used to buy Kettlebell dumb bells and work on those muscles, with an intention to look nice in my halter necks and sleeveless clothing. But as I grow older, I prefer something that is less strenuous on my joints, which led me to choosing Pilates fitness as a workout. When done on a regular basis, Pilates can be very good for the individual. What I like about it is that the intensity can be adjusted according to your needs.
With a myriad of workouts and exercise options, there is no excuse why anyone isn’t exercising for the good of the body, mind and spirit. Are you doing anything for your body and health this year? If not, it’s not too late to start now.
