Time for a Holiday Break

Yesterday marked the last Pilates mat class for me as I get ready for the very busy month in December. We did a lot of stretches and articulation exercises and I could still feel the stretch on my rib cage today.

I’m taking a two weeks vacation next week in down under and it would be a good break for me as I relax in my cousin’s bush house and then laze at the beaches in Gold Coast. Since I’ll be online with my netbook, I can still check out some promotional products for the company’s gift list. With a busy month in December, there’ll be Christmas shopping, lunches and dinners. It’s going to be tiring to say the least but I’ll be away from work for some weeks. It’s unbelievable that the year is coming to an end. I’m glad to get started with Pilates and looking forward to another year of great workouts at the studio.

There are few things to do before I take off for my break. For those who are planning to travel this holiday season, don’t neglect your body and your health in the midst of all the playing and indulgence. If you have been diligent in your workouts this whole year, it’s time to take a break and get that rest too!
