Pilates Workouts Popular among Weight Watchers

During my Pilates workout last Thursday, I took note of this slim lady who had just finished her class earlier.

She was not big to begin with but I later learnt from my Pilates instructor that her Pilates goals was to lose weight on her thighs. Well, I feltĀ  a little strange as I couldn’t even notice that there was any fats on her thighs, I thought mine would be worse!

It further reinforces the fact that many people still turn to Pilates to lose weight but in a gradual way. Actually the fastest way to lose weight would be via cardio workouts but choosing a Pilates workout seems less strenuous for many. Those who are desperate to lose weight will turn to diet pills and even surgeries but personally I don’t even think these steps are necessary if you live a healthy lifestyle from the start.

Pilates workouts are great to not only lose unnecessary bulges on the body but it helps to tone and firm those areas as well, Most importantly, it helps you to build strength around these core muscles which are important for your overall posture and health.
