pilates training is not only for weight loss

Many people strongly believe that pilates training is for weight loss.

While this assumption is not wrong, let me just say that pilates is more than just for those wanting to shed some extra pounds! If you understand the core principles of pilates training, you would understand that breathing and body awareness are both important to getting the exercise right.

In pilates training, you need to follow a rhythmic breathing technique and be aware of your body movements, especially when you are working on those core muscles.

What’s great about it is that Pilates training is not only for those who want to lose weight. It’s for anyone who want to acquire flexibility of the body and a better posture. This friend of mine in the ball lock pins business finds pilates training a great breakaway from her industrial nature.

Pilates training can be relaxing and beneficial to all ages as long as you are physically able to perform simple stretches, breathing patterns and exercise.
