Whenever I choose family friendly hotels in our family vacation, I like to pick accommodation hotels that are modern and new enough. In other words, I don’t like old and ugly hotels. Not that I’m choosy but old hotels tend to contain old furniture in the property and they make me feel so ‘stuffy’.

Modern hotels tend to be decorated with modern furniture and pleasant furnishings. From the carpet colours to the interior decoration, a modern hotel tend to appeal more to younger and more urban travelers. Older hotels tend to appeal to budget travelers and senior travelers. Then again, this is only a generalization. Whatever hotel style you choose, make sure you do your research about your destination hotel but viewing the hotel and room photos in the website so that you won’t be greeted with any unexpected surprises!
