The new year has begun and it’s exciting for our family cos we are moving into a new house.
This is also a very fun month as many of my friends are celebrating their birthdays. It’s hard to find the right gift for one or two of them as they are that sort who seem to have everything. I came across some gourmet birthday treats and I thought it would be a great birthday gift idea. I like everything gourmet and these are little things in life that I appreciate.
The best thing to get the best treats is to shop online. It’s easy, convenient and saves me the trouble from navigating around the busy carpark in the mall!

It’s been a very busy month for us as we prepare ourselves to move into a new premises.
I never like packing and unpacking and I know many people share the same sentiment. We threw out some stuff and perhaps we should throw away more. The problem with my hubby is that he loves to hoard so it’s hard to dispose anything! I told him I want to make space for log beds for the guest rooms but he’s not convinced that I need them. I really didn’t like what we have now.
Maybe I’ll stop shopping after everything is packed up in the new house. I just dread to move again when the contract ends!

People work differently today. With the current technology and Internet capabilities, it is possible to work anywhere in the world and this makes it convenient for business people on the move.
I’m sure you have heard of paperless office software where it allows people to work out of their offices. It is great to know that as people become more techie in their lifestyle. In the midst of everything, it is good to strike a balance.

I know some people don’t subscribe to the face that a good mattress will give a good sleep but I do!
When we were moving to our new house,I was looking at a few mattresses before deciding on what was best for us. I saw the foambymail latex mattresses and others and finally chose one that we both liked. For me, a good sleep is everything there is to good health and youthful looks in the long term!

You may not agree but technology has certainly changed many things in our lives, including employment opportunities. Whether it’s someone looking for an admin job or some kind of Technical Recruiter Jobs, you can submit your resume online and expect some potential employers to call on ou. It’s all about timing and the right match for anyone to land on the right job no matter what industry it is.

This has been a terribly busy month for us and I’m kinda glad that December is coming. It means a month of break and I don’t have to prepare lunch boxes in the mornings. That itself saves me heaps of worries and time.
I look forward to spend some time with family and friends. I have a group of girl friends who meet every year and they are all still single. Sometimes I wonder if they would try out free dating sites since there’s really nothing to lose. I believe it’s nice to have a partner or companion. After all, who likes to be a loner?

Even though technology has advanced, we should learn not to forget the simple things of life.
I was browsing through all the Christmas Cards on sale in the store and they looked so pretty. I thought it would be good to send my greetings early since we will be traveling in a few weeks’ time. Christmas is always my favourite season though I don’t get presents anymore. It is more exciting to catch up with friends during the festive period and this is what I’m planning to do this year!

It is hard to believe that we are moving again. Just when I thought that I am all settled and ready to move forward, we are told to move again.
I was telling hubby that we need to get a new bed for our son. The bed was broken during our first move so it’s time to get a new one since we are moving. Some friends told me that a log bed is good but that isn’t going to be useful for us for now. Perhaps I will get them when we have a vacation home. That should be ideal I think.

My husband has been busy creating facebook fan pages in the last one week.
I believe this is a new way of marketing in the 21st century and it will no time become mainstream for businesses. These days, people are familiar with you tube video downloads and even a six year old can tell you how. So it does take us to be more open and savvy with technology so that we won’t be left behind. Has anyone not seen a youtube video these days(my mom excluded)?

Setting up online stores have been a common thing for work at home dads and moms over the years.
I have a friend who went for an internet marketing course and came home with the passion to set up his own online store. He was selling intimate items and lingerie teddies and some of our friends think it is weird for a man to be marketing these things.
For me, it’s all part and parcel of a business and there is absolutely nothing wrong for a man to market these things. I just hope that people will be more open minded and not find it a taboo for man to do this.
